This fire boat is an outsanding tool for demanding fire fighting and rescue operations. The vessel is equipped with two individual fire pumps and 3 remote-controlled fire monitors, one is even mounted in the top of the remote-controlled crane.
The ship is protected with a cooling water shield on both sides of the hull and on the wheelhouse. Locating the heat source is easy with the visual and heat-detecting cameras.
The manoeuvring is extremely simple thanks to the double installation of the efficient Scania DI13-551 kW main engines connected to the Rolls-Royce FF550 waterjets controlled with joysticks. A hydraulic bow thruster provides additional power to keep the boat in place when fighting fires. The vessel is also equipped with two 19 kW 400V auxiliary machines.
